11/10 - 10:05 pm Well I am finished. I can't begin to tell you how many hours I have into this one. A LOT. I wish the scan would pick up the reds in her outfit better. The scan really doesn't show all the colors in this piece. I think I might take a pic of this one to see if the truer colors will show.
11/10: I just have a few more areas to touch up and darken and will be done. Hope to post the final version tonight or tomorrow
11/4: Another update. I worked some more on the outfit and background. Still have a little more to do on her outfit, need to darken up her face a wee bit more and work on the ship and horizon. Definitely, taking me a little bit longer than I anticipated.
10/31: Worked some more on her outfit and face. Still lots more to do. Also want to go back over the ship and the lower background a bit more.
10/26: Well, I wasn't able to get this done in time for the contest , but at least I finished up my commission in time Started working on the face and finishing up the background, and working off and on her outfit. The outfit will probably take me the longest, since it is so detailed.
10/09: Got a little more done. Hope to finish up my commission soon and can start working on this piece again.
My latest work in progress. Hoping to enter this one into the 5 Themes Contest hosted by Don't know if I will get done in time or not though, as I have a commissioin I must begin working on in the next day or two.
