I was inspired by equine artist Kim McElroy to do this close up of a horse's eye. Something I wish to explore more of, is doing eyes of animals and humans. As they say "eyes are the window to the soul" I want to create art that shows expression and what the soul portrays.
Looking at this piece, I began to ponder what was Cody saying through his eye. What was he reflecting or conveying. I began to think well, he's wondering or curious as to what is going on and wondering what was going to happen to him next, as Cody was in the process of getting a bath at the time of this shot. So I came up with "Wonder" for a title.
I am curious as to what others thoughts might be, please feel free to give me your interpretation.
Absolutely amazing. <3 I love the shades and tones of blues you've used - the cold colors are beautiful. (: Horse eyes are so inspiring. Great work!
